This article covers everything included in the Pargo 4.2 release, with details on what changed, why it matters, and what to expect.

New Features

Real-Time GPS Tracking (Mobile)

What's new: Viewing a parcel on a phone or iPad, you can now turn on GPS tracking so your current location shows on the map and updates automatically as you move.

Why it matters: Previously, checking your current location meant manually re-tapping "my location" each time you moved. Continuous tracking updates your position automatically, which is especially useful for walking a parcel boundary in the field.

What to expect:

  • Turn on GPS tracking while viewing a parcel on your phone or iPad; your location appears on the map and updates automatically as you physically move, with no manual refresh needed.
  • Walking along a parcel boundary, the location indicator tracks closely enough with your actual movement to let you judge your position relative to the boundary lines.
  • Turn tracking off at any time; live location updates stop immediately and no further location polling occurs.
  • The first time you turn on tracking, your mobile browser or device will prompt you for location permission and explain what happens if you decline.

Prompt Builder (Criteria Builder Replacement)

What's new: The AI Advisor's pop-out criteria block has been replaced with a Prompt Builder for browsing and selecting query attributes, starter prompts, and parcel profile shortcuts, with keyword search to help you find a specific attribute.

Why it matters: Building a query or knowing what to ask the AI Advisor used to require either already knowing the exact field name or manually invoking the AI Advisor to get a profile summary. The catalog surfaces all of that in one browsable, searchable place.

What to expect:

  • Open the catalog from AI Advisor and use keyword search to locate a specific data attribute, helpful now that the number of searchable fields has grown.
  • Browse Top Prompts, or a curated set of ready-to-use starter prompts grouped by common user types (for example, brokerage or development); selecting one adds it to your prompt as editable text.
  • Use Profile Shortcuts to generate a property, risk, financial, or ownership profile summary for a selected parcel in one click, functionality previously only reachable by manually invoking AI Advisor.
  • Browse the full data catalog for every searchable data element, organized by category; every field visible in the Details Panel is selectable here.
  • Selecting or deselecting an item in the catalog adds or removes the corresponding text in your AI Advisor prompt, and you can still hand-edit the prompt text directly at any time, exactly as before.
  • The "search within map extent" toggle is unchanged and continues to work as it always has.

Custom Export Branding

What's new: You can now upload a custom logo (PNG, JPG, or SVG) to your account, which then appears automatically on your customer-facing exports.

Why it matters: Exports previously carried only ParGo's platform branding, with no way to put your own identity in front of your clients. Now your materials look like they came from you.

What to expect:

  • Go to your account settings' branding section and upload a logo in PNG, JPG, or SVG format, under the account's file size limit.
  • A confirmation and preview appear once the upload succeeds.
  • Your logo then appears automatically in the header of every PDF, Print, HTML, and Assemblage Report export you generate, with no need to reattach it per export.
  • Branding is set per user, not per organization; each teammate manages their own logo. Organization-wide branding is not part of this release.
  • An unsupported file format or an oversized file is rejected with an error message stating the accepted formats and size limit; no partial or corrupt logo is saved.

Residents Export Scope

What's new: Resident demographic and contact fields, previously bundled inside the Permits export scope, now export under their own dedicated Residents scope, with its own PDF design.

Why it matters: Residents data (age range, income range, homeowner status, contact details, and similar fields) was mixed in with Permits data, making it harder to work with either data set on its own. Splitting it out gives each its own clean export.

What to expect:

  • Residents-related fields (for example age range, gender, marital status, has children, personal email, phone, company, job title, department, seniority level, business email, education history, income range, and homeowner status) now export under the new Residents scope instead of Permits.
  • The Permits export scope no longer includes these resident fields.
  • Residents has its own dedicated PDF design, separate from the Permits PDF.
  • The Admin Panel and plan settings now list Residents alongside Parcel, Financial, Permits, and Listings as an export scope.

Enhancements

Quick Summary for Financial, Permits, and Listings

What's new: The predetermined "Quick Summary" field export, previously available only for the Parcel scope, is now available for Financial, Permits, and Listings scopes as well.

Why it matters: Exporting anything other than Parcel data meant working with the full field list. Now all four scopes offer the same fast, curated option Parcel already had.

What to expect:

  • Quick Summary appears as an export option for Financial, Permits, and Listings, matching the option already available for Parcel.
  • Each scope uses its own predetermined field set suited to that data type.

Low-Credits Guidance

What's new: A new modal now appears when you don't have enough credits to complete an export or a Run Drop request.

Why it matters: Previously, running low on credits simply disabled the export button and showed a small warning message with no guidance on what to do next.

What to expect:

  • When you don't have enough credits, a modal explains your options instead of just disabling the export button.
  • Choose to reduce your export scope, reduce the number of file formats, reduce the number of parcels, or buy more credits, all from the same modal.

Pipeline Enhancements

What's new: A set of improvements bringing Pipeline in line with Projects and closing a few workflow gaps.

Why it matters: Pipeline was missing some of the list-management conveniences Projects already had, and a couple of flows, like the Run Drop credit warning, had gaps that could lead to accidental credit spend or lost work.

What to expect:

  • The Pipeline list view now has an actions menu (edit, archive), matching the Projects list view.
  • The grid view for parcels and pipelines also has an actions menu.
  • Drag a parcel's box to reorder it within the same pipeline stage.
  • Email and SMS buttons are hidden for parcels that haven't had Drop run yet; a "Run Drop" button appears in their place instead.
  • The "Do not show this again" option has been removed from the Run Drop/SMS/Email warning, so this warning now always appears before credits are spent.
  • A new page under Settings lists archived projects and pipelines, where you can restore them or delete them permanently.

Fixes

  • Project Save, Save As, and loading are now significantly faster for projects with large parcel result sets.
  • The project list now shows an accurate count of queries run against each project.
  • Map layer filters render and update reliably when you switch fields or conditions quickly.
  • Negative ("NOT") search criteria now correctly exclude matching parcels instead of returning only them.
  • The map's Home button now returns you to your project's last saved extent instead of zooming out to the entire US.
  • You'll now see a warning before navigating away from a project with unsaved changes.
  • "Added by you" and "Removed" now use more distinct colors in assemblage and results views.
  • The Pipeline archive button now works correctly: archived pipelines stay archived after a refresh.
  • Zoning code links are now included in PDF and HTML exports for the Parcel scope.
