How do I narrow a search that is too broad?

Add criteria that cut the set hard rather than many small ones. Work in this order:

  1. Constrain the geography first (county or map extent)
  2. Then acreage or lot size
  3. Then zoning or land use
  4. Then improvement status

Tip: Run the search after each addition so you can see which criterion is doing the work. If you are close to the parcel limit, split by geography rather than loosening criteria.
